2015 Residential Code input deadline

The 2015 Michigan Residential Code Chapters 1 and 2 are now open to correct conflicts and inconsistencies between these chapters, the Stille-DeRossett-Hale Single State Construction Code Act, 1972 PA 230, and the Skilled Trades Regulation Act, 2016 PA 407, as the result of a request to amend these chapters.  Pursuant to the Stille-DeRossett-Hale Single State Construction Code Act, 1972 PA 230, MCL 125.1504(7), the Bureau will only open these chapters.  For your convenience, a Proposed Rule (Code) Change Request form is attached.  The current rule set affected can be reviewed under our Administrative Rules webpage.  Proposals for this rule set must be submitted to matsumotos@michigan.gov by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2018.  Status of the rule set progression will be posted on our website.
